Work With Me: The Options

1. Join the Midnight Music Community

Access online music technology professional development, personalised support and advice and help to reach your technology goals (no matter how small or big).  Inside the Midnight Music Community are 12 online courses which cover specific technology topics such as iPads, GarageBand, Mixcraft, Sibelius, Music Tech For Beginners, Audacity and more.  Unlike most other online music software or technology courses, they have been designed specifically for music teachers. Most of the courses are centred around student-based projects – step-by-step adaptable projects that teach you and the students software skills “accidentally” along the way.  In addition to the courses are lesson plans, questions and answers around using technology in music education, group challenges to help you achieve your goals and the chance to connect with other music teachers just like you.

2. Book a workshop for the staff at your school

Tailored, hands-on training on the use of technology in music education for the staff at your school or institution using your computer lab, laptops or iPads. There’s no limit to the number of attendees and the session takes place at a time that’s convenient for you. I work with classroom music teachers, studio instrumental teachers, ensemble leaders, pre-service teachers, lecturers and non-music specialists.

4. Book me to speak at your conference, network meeting or other event

I’m available to speak at conferences, music network meetings and other music education events. Almost all of the workshops here can be adapted to lecture-style conference presentations, or you can suggest your own topic. I’m an experienced presenter and have presented at more than 50 conferences and other events.
