Midnight Music Is Hiring A Rockstar Content Manager! 

If you’ve got content management talent burning a hole in your pocket and wish your current job really made use of your creative skills, you might be just the person I’m looking for.  

I’m Katie Wardrobe - owner of Midnight Music.  

I help simplify technology for music teachers through professional development and training including podcasts, workshops and my online community.  

I have lots of new and existing content related projects to tackle and my team and I need help to get them all done.

I’m looking for a Content Manager to manage and distribute our content for all the exciting expansion happening with the Midnight Music brand.  

This is a part-time remote position of approximately 20 - 25 hours per week. Best of all. This role is remote. You can do it from anywhere. You’ll need to have an understanding of how the content side of an online business works, including posting blog posts in Wordpress, managing content calendars, social media marketing etc. (If any of those phrases are brand new to you, this likely is not the perfect position for you.)  

This position has high expectations. But if you’re the person I’m looking for, you’re the type who gets motivated by high expectations.

  • Primarily, the Content Manager is responsible for developing and managing a content marketing strategy that supports our goals and vision.  
  • The Content Manager is able to increase brand awareness, grow website traffic and generate leads through their content marketing.  
  • The Content Manager is able to successfully assist with and create, edit and manage the production of digital content that is consistent with our brand, style, and tone. This includes publishing blog posts, weekly emails, premium Content (Ebooks, Webinars, Podcasts, etc).  
  • The Content Manager maintains our usual content program including weekly emails, blog posts, podcasts, etc and also creates content for launches and promotional materials.  
  • The Content Manager develops and maintains a content calendar that attracts and appeals to our target customer avatars and oversees overall social posts.  
  • The Content Manager liaises with guest bloggers and course creators.  
  • The Content Manager creates standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the planning, execution, optimization, distribution, and amplification of our content.  
  • The Content Manager oversees all the scheduling, publication, project-management of content and overall consistency of Midnight Music content assets to the deadlines.  
  • The Content Manager coordinates day to day editorial operations, managing in house and outsourced content creators, editors, graphic designers, etc.  
  • The Content Manager reviews all assignments before publication to ensure material is accurate and on brand as well as identifying mistakes in grammar, punctuation and spelling.  
  • The Content Manager identifies successful content and maps out new ways to repurpose (i.e. a blog post into a YouTube video) to amplify our message.  
  • The Content Manager creates content that is optimised for search and social media traffic.  
  • The Content Manager uncovers unique and interesting stories for multiple audiences (customer, employee, or related industry news) and determines the best platform and audience to distribute.

  • Those who are just looking for a “side job” while growing their own business.
  • People who have multiple clients already, and don’t have the time to give Midnight Music the focus it needs.
  • Someone who doesn’t want to dig into the details or ever do any of the dirty work.
  • The people who have no prior experience in online business or content creation/management.
  • Those who aren’t willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
