Hello! I’m Katie Argyle – an Australian music technology trainer and consultant with a passion for helping music teachers through my business Midnight Music.
I’m a qualified teacher but no, I don’t currently teach in a school. I help teachers through my online professional development space – the Midnight Music Community – where there are tutorial videos, courses, links and downloadable resources.
I like to focus on easy ways to incorporate technology into what you are already doing in your music curriculum through a range of creative projects. I also run live workshops and have presented at countless conferences and other music education events.
If you want simple, effective ideas for using technology in music education, I would LOVE to help you inside the Midnight Music Community.

[…] It’s so gorgeous! I can’t wait to show my students! Here is a Music Award I made. (This is a Canva link, so you can open it in your account as a template and edit as you see fit!)Digital Badges I created. I’m so excited to try something brand new with my students this fall as we do first quarter virtually. My principal gave me the go-ahead to offer 3 different choices to my 3rd, 4th and 5th-grade students. So, they can choose to attend 1) Making Beats 2) Making Music Videos or 3)Songwriting. I’ll be sure to share how it’s going as the quarter progresses!I also created some Pizza Note Fractions worksheets as a PDF and then imported them as a background into Google Slides where I digitized them. There are 2 versions available in my TPT store. I’ve made several other things on Canva. I will add, that if you take Katie’s course, you get access to everyone’s designs that took the course (and shared them on the wakelet)! To me, that was worth the membership price alone! You can always read her blog posts about Canva here. […]
