NEW EDITION 2020/21
Each year I put together a list of free music tech resources – websites, software, and more – that you can use in your music classroom.
The latest version of the Ultimate Free Music Technology Resources Guide is out now!
So what’s new? There are over 50 new listings in this year’s guide. We have also removed any Flash-based sites from this edition (due to the discontinuation of Flash at the end of 2020).
I hope you enjoy the guide and find the resources useful!

Looking for More Resources for Music Teachers?
Hello! I’m Katie Wardrobe – an Australian music technology trainer and consultant with a passion for helping music teachers through my business Midnight Music.
I’m a qualified teacher but no, I don’t currently teach in a school. I help teachers through my online professional development space – the Midnight Music Community – where there are tutorial videos, courses, links and downloadable resources.

I like to focus on easy ways to incorporate technology into what you are already doing in your music curriculum through a range of creative projects. I also run live workshops and have presented at countless conferences and other music education events.
If you want simple, effective ideas for using technology in music education, I would LOVE to help you inside the Midnight Music Community.
Hi Katie, I a have been trying to get a Zoom party going w multiple singers and multiple instruments thought Zoom it was terrible!! The latency was severe! I have assumed its the different broadbands and connectioins the users have. Any Thought?? BTWYS
It’s not possible to do for the reasons you mentioned. I’ve spoken about that in a few free webinars I’ve given! You need to take a different approach and do alternative activities that don’t require playing in time with one another.
I also use a resource https://chordchord.com/ I find it very useful for musicians. Here you can create and find interesting chord sequences. Also this site can help you improve your music or offer you some good chords to create music.
