Improve sound quality of student projects
In a recent video I answered a frequently asked question about plugging a MIDI keyboard into a computer to speed up creativity and productivity. Today’s video is all about plugging in a microphone to improve the sound quality of audio projects that your students are creating. An external mic can really enhance the recording experience for students and even more so, the listening experience of their audience.
I’m always of the opinion that if you don’t have any external microphones to use at school, don’t let that stop you doing recording projects with students. You may just need to employ some of the tips in my earlier post about recording in a noisy classroom. However, if you can get some external mics (and there are many available that are not too pricey), then the creative output of students will be even better.
